I was young and dedicated to my mission.
The Beasties had released their new album "Hello Nasty".
It was a science inspired work of genius (in my eyes at least).
The film clips were full of goggles and boiler suits.
I headed off with two tickets, some goggles as a token of my appreciation for them and a mission to meet them.
We made it to the middle in the front row after purchasing some hats and we waited eagerly.
We handed our 'token of appreciation' goggles to someone who claimed to be a manager of sorts and again waited.
If only they had known i had to steal those goggles from the science classroom in e block, maybe then they would have known the significance.
We didn't end up meeting them, although we did get the chance to individually wave at them while they were watching The Avalanches from backstage...not sure if they saw us coz we didn't get a wave back.
An awesome concert all the same and the start of a long term adventure.
